Day 1 Bangkok

Day 2 Kanchanaburi

Our guide picks you up at hotel and leave Bangkok for the picturesque Floating Market in Damnoen Saduak. After a stop with lots of photo opportunities, continue the transfer to Kanchanaburi. Upon arrival, you will take a ride on the Death Railway train, over the scenic River Kwai valley. After lunch in a local restaurant, enjoy a boat trip on the Kwai river, before returning to Kanchanaburi.

Day 3 Phitsanuloke

In the morning, you will continue the trip to Ayutthaya, one of the UNESCO World Heritage- sites. You will visit famous ruins like Wat Mongkol Bophit, Wat Sri Sanpetch and Wat Chaiwattaram, with their impressive Buddha statues. Transfer to Phitsanulok.

Day 4 Sukhothai

After breakfast, we visit “Wat Phra Sri Mahathat”, a temple built in the 13th century, and the sacred “ Buddha Jinaraj “- said to be one of the most beautiful Buddha statues in Thailand. After that, we leave Phitsanulok for sukhothai.
Upon arrival in Sukothai, visit the Historical Park of Siams former capital, with important temple ruins such as: Wat Mahathat, Wat Sri Chum. Continue to Lampang.
Overnight in Lampang.
Day 5 Lampang

Mornig, enjoy a short break in the tour.
Afternoon, we visit the Friends of the Asian Elephant Hospital located in Lampang. This is the first elephant hospital in the world established to care for sick and abused elephants, with the aim of preserving the animals’ natural habitat and lifestyle. You’ll learn more about this important initiative and perhaps become acquainted with some of its resident pachyderm patients.

Day 6 Chiang Rai

The journey continues further to the north to Chiang Rai. Enroute you will stop at a pineapple plantation. Later in Doi Mae Salong you can experience the daily life of the Akha- and Yao- hilltribes, before arriving at Chiang Rai for overnight.

Day 7 Chiang Rai

After breakfast you will drive to Chiang Saen to visit Wat Chedi Luang. Proceed to the city of Mae Sai, the most northern point of Thailand and a border city to Myanmar. After lunch in a local restaurant, drive back to the Golden Triangle – the area where the borders of Laos, Myanmar and Thailand meet. Visit a local Opium Museum and enjoy a boat trip on the Mekong River (with a stop in Laos), before returning to Chiang Rai.
