Day 1: Hanoi / Arrival

Hanoi city tour. Visit some famous places in Hanoi that includes The Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem lake, Ngoc Son Temple and Vietnam Museum of Ethnology.

Day 2: Sapa

Early morning, pick up from the hotel depart for Sapa. Arrive Sapa Town around 1.00pm. You will see the town full of color with traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic People. Check-in hotel and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Around 14.30, have a short trek to the gate of Cat Cat village. See the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station. Stop at a bridge to see waterfall then you will walk uphill for to go back to Sapa Town. Have dinner at the hotel’s restaurant,

Day 3: Sapa

Breakfast at hotel and prepare light pack for trekking. At 9.30, trekking from Sapa town to Muong Hoa valley, admire the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain and rice terrace. Around 12.30, picnic lunch at Lao Chai Village. After lunch, heading to Ta Van village, home of Dzay ethnic people to see the local daily life. At 14.30, we picks you up at Ta Van Bridge to Sapa to go back to Sapa town.

15.00, have a shower at hotel before going back to Hanoi. Arrival in Hanoi at around 21.00.

Day 4: Halong bay

Morning, enjoy breakfast at hotel. We leave Hanoi for Halong bay around 8.00am. Upon arrival in Halong, embark and have delicous lunch onboard. We cruise through thousand amazing islands and islets during the lunch. After lunch, take a refresh in your room before visiting Surprising Cave, kayaking, swimming… Go back to the boat, get a drink and enjoy a sunset scenery in the bay.

Day 5: Halong bay

Morning, breakfast on boat. Cruise further and stop at a Pearl Farm village. Continue cruising through many island and islet to explore the hidden charm of the bay. Lunch on board while going back to the prier. Transfer back to Hanoi airport and take a flight to Hue.

Day 6: Hue

Hue city tour. Get a boat trip to Thien Mu Pagoda. We then continue our visit at the CitadelHue Royal Antiques museum. Visit Dong Ba Market and have lunch at a nearby restaurant.

After lunch, visit tomb of King “Minh Mang” and Tomb of King “Khai Dinh”. Proceed our tour at a nearby village where people making incense stick and conical hat. After that, we transfer you to Hoi An

Day 7: Hoi An

Morning, visit My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Afternoon, visit Hoi An town on foot: Hoi An’s Colorful Local Market, Tan Ky Old House, Fu Jian Assembly Hall, and the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge.

Day 8: Hoi An

Breakfast at hotel. Spend a little leisure time then our driver transfers you to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh. Arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh, you will be taken to hotel for check-in. Rest of the day is your own time to explore the city yourselves.

Evening, enjoy your dinner on a Restaurant boat.

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh

Morning, enjoy breakfast at hotel. After that, take a city tour. Places to visit: The Re-Unification Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral & the War Remnants Museum.

Afternoon, leave the city for Cu Chi. Explore the Cu Chi Tunnel. Return the city.

Day 10: Mekong Delta

After breakfast at hotel, leave Ho Chi Minh for Ben Tre. Take a boat trip on Mekong river to a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, walking through the fruit plantation village.

Day 11: Mekong Delta

Take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong river. Proceed to Chau Doc, continue our visit at Tra Su, getting to the wild birds Sanctuary.

CAMBODIA

Day 12: Phnom Penh

Early morning, take a rowing boat trip to visit a fish farm and floating houses. Visit the Cham minority in their traditional weaving village.

After that, take a speed boat from Chau Doc, Vietnam to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Arrive at Sisowath tourist quay in Phnom Penh around 2.00pm.

After a refrestment, enjoy a lunch at a nice restaurant in Phnom Penh.

Day 13: Siem Reap

Morning, start the tour by visitng Royal Palace and its Silver Pagoda. After that, you will be taken to the Khmer Rouge Killing Field and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (or Wat Phnom instead, as per your preference).

Afternoon, transfer to Siem Reap.

Day 14: Siem Reap

Morning, visit to the antique capital of Angkor Thom. Continue your visit at Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in Angkor. Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon, visit Angkor Wat the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor.

Evening, enjoy buffet dinner and watch Khmer Traditional Dance Show at a local restaurant.

Day 15: Siem Reap

At 8.00am, we drive out of the city to go to Koh Ker. Abandoned to the forests of the north, Koh Ker, capital of the Angkorian empire from AD 928 to AD 944. It takes about 1.5 hour to reach Koh Ker. On arrival, we start to explore the complex.

10.30am, we drive back to Siem Reap. On the way back, we stop at two famous temples: Prasat Neang Khmaw & Prasat Pram. Lunch at a local restaurant near Beng Mealea temple.

1.30pm, we visit Beng Mealea temple. Enjoy a short walk through the dense jungle and discover the wonders of an overgrown temple, Beng Mealea, which lay undiscovered for centuries. We proceed to the last one that we visit today, Banteay Srey, the “gem” of the Angkor area.

Day 16: Siem Reap

Morning, visit the National Museum at 7.30am. After that, you will have a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake for sightseeing.
Afternoon, transfer you to airport for flight to Luang Prabang (16:55-18:55).

LAOS

Day 17: Luang Prabang

Morning, visit the Traditional Art and Ethnology Center to learn about Laos’ many ethnic cultures. Then visit Wat Xieng Thong, the royal city’s most important temple.

Embark and cruise upstream on the Mekong River, visit the famous and mysterious Pak Ou Caves. Back to the city. Stop at the village of Ban Xanghai where they make the local rice wine. Lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, visit some major places: National Museum (Royal Palace), Wat Mai, UXO Visitor’s Centre and Wat Visoun famous for its enormous stupa and its collection of old gilded Buddhas.

Finally, we reach the Mount Phousi to enjoy a panoramic sunset view of Luang Prabang.

Day 18: Luang Prabang → Xieng Khouang

After breakfast, we drive to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall where you can splash around in the pools or walk along the forest paths. Before coming back to Luang Prabang, we still have time to visit Kuang Si Falls Butterflies Park, newly opened January 2014, it is now one of the must-see spots in Luang Prabang.

After that, we make our way over the mountains to Xieng Khouang, best-known for having been heavily bombed during Indochina War and also famous for its historic Plain of Jars. The journey takes about 8 hours and we can make some stops at villages to observe the rural life of local people, including ethnic minorities.

Arrival in Phonsavanh, the capital of Xieng Khouang province and check into your hotel.

Day 19: Xieng Khouang

Morning, we make a visit to the 3 “Plain of Jars” sites and also discover some local villages where you can observe local village life.

Afternoon, we drive to Muang Khoun, one that was not been destroyed by the American bombings during the secret war. Muang Khoun is home to unique sitting giant Buddha as well of some old pagodas that lies in ruins. Return to Phonsavan.

Day 20: Xieng Khouang → Vang Vieng

After breakfast, we have time today to explore the site and some nearby villages, populated by the Hmong hill tribe and Tai Dam people. Even though living a poor life, they possess a vibrant local culture and an interesting history.

We leave Xieng Khuang for our scenic drive to Vang Vieng, a small town, which is nestled on a bend of the Nam Song River. Arrive at Vang Vieng by late afternoon.

Day 21: Vang Vieng

In the morning, we will first stroll around the town to visit the local market to catch a gimpse of everyday life in a typical Lao rural area. We then visit Organic Farm Vang Vieng.

After that, we visit the cave of Tham Jang, which was used in the early 19th century in defense against the Chinese invaders. We also cross the river to Ban Huai Ngae, a very pleasant village where we can explore the different local lifestyles.

Go back to your hotel. Spend your leisure time in Vang Vieng.

Day 22: Vang Vieng → Vientiane

Early morning, start cycling to Blue Lagoon (7Km from the town center), of which the waters are an aqua-blue, and are always cool. Visit the nearby Tham Phoukham Cave.

Afternoon, leave Vang Vieng and drive to Vientiane. Stop to visit Vang Xang along the way, a famous archeological site dating back 11th century.

Arrive in Vientiane just in time to catch the sunset, transfer to your hotel.

Day 23: Vientiane → Yangon

At 7.30am, We do a quick city tour. First, we visit the serene Wat Sisaket, one of the most beautiful temples in the capital. Continue on to the nearby Wat Phra Keo. Used as a religious museum, Wat Phra Keo displays a collection of both Lao and Khmer works of art. We stop at the Patuxay monument, then transfer you our of the city to visit Buddha Park which contains numerous religious images.
We transfer you straight to airport for flight to Yangon.

MYANMAR

Day 24: Yangon

Morning, visit the gilt Sule Pagoda, Strand road and Yangon Jetty. Proceed to Bogyoke Aung San Market. Afternoon, visit Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, Karaweik Hall Royal and the world famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 25: Bagan

Morning, early flight from Yangon to Bagan. Visit many interesting places in Bagan including: colorful Naung U Market and some famous pagodas. Afternoon, visit Htilominlo Temple. Passing through the Tharabar Gate way and get into Old Bagan to visit 3 famous temples: Ananda Temple, Thetbyinnyu Temple and Dhammayangyi Temple. Enjoy a sunset senery on the top of Shwesandaw Pagoda. A picture of thousand temples in yellow light is just in front of your eyes. Back to the city. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 26: Heho

Morning, transfer to Mandalay airport for flight to Heho. Upon arrival in Heho, transfer straight to Pindaya. Enjoy lunch and visit Shwe Oo Min Natural Cave Pagoda. Late afternoon, drive to Nyaung Shwe jetty and take a boat trip to hotel. Overnight in Inle Lake.

Day 27: Inle Lake

After breakfast, sightseeing on magical Inle Lake. See the fisherman rowing in the one-legged style characteristic of Inle Lake boatmen. After that, visit the Nga Hpe Kyaung (Jumping Cat Monastery), Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda. The boat trip takes you to Inn Paw Khon village where people make silk weaving, Nam Pan Village with cheroot and other cottage industries.

Day 28: Yangon

Flight to Yangon. visit some famous place in the city: Lawka Chanthar Arbayar Laba Muni Buddha Image (Kyauktawgyi), Royal White Elephant camp, Kaba Aye Pagoda and Maha Pasana Guha (Great Cave). Transfer back to airport for flight to Bangkok. Overnight in Bangkok.

THAILAND

Day 29: Bangkok

At 6.15, leave Bangkok for Ratchabur, boat trip to Damnoen Saduak floating market. See the local life and visit handicraft home industry. Transfer to Kwai River, visit Tiger Temple in Kanchanaburi. At 17.00, leave Kanchanaburi for Bangkok.

Day 30: Bangkok

At 6.30, leave Bangkok for Ayuthaya. Stop to visit the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace. Continue to Ayutthaya, visit Wat Maha That. We continue our visit at Wat Phra Si Sanphet, the largest and most important temple.

At 12.30, Embark a cruise, enjoy delicious buffet lunch on board and cruise back to Bangkok. Sightseeing from the boat on the way back to Bangkok city.

Day 31: Chiang Mai

Morning, visit famous temples in Bangkok including Wat Traimit (The Golden Buddha Temple), Wat Pho. The last one we visit is Wat Benjabophit. Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon, flight to Chiang Mai. Arrival at airport, we transfer you to your hotel. Check-in and spend your time at leisure.

Day 32: Chiang Mai

At 8.00, visit Doi Inthanon National Park, encompasses the highest mountain in Thailand. Visit the modern Chedis of the King & Queen. Proceed to Karen hill tribe village.

After lunch, visit Vachiritharn and Siritharn Waterfalls. Proceed to flower garden at the Royal Project Research Station. Back to hotel.

Day 33: Chiang Mai

At 07.00, leave Chiang Mai for Lampang. Visit the Elephant Conservation Centre along the way & witness the show of Elephant. Arrival in Lampang, visit Wat Prathat Lampang Luang. Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon, Horse-cart ride through the old streets of Lampang and visit Kad Kong Ta Street Market. After that, visit Wat Pra That Hariphunchai, the most celebrated temple in Lamphun province.

At 7.00, visit Mae Khachan hot springs, stunning Wat Rong Khun (White Temple) and Chiang Saen. Proceed to The famous Golden Triangle area of Northern Thailand.
